Our pet friendly Activity Department is staffed by a Nationally Certified Activity Director and four more activitiy staff members who are Certified Nursing Assistants as well as over 70 volunteers. We offer programs of intellectual, spiritual, social and physical stimulation. We also arrange for groups to entertain, and we have regular outings to places such as local restaurants, ski resorts, trips to Traverse City for shopping, visiting museums or even wine tasting and sightseeing.

There are lots of activities going on at The Maples! Some of the activities we offer are: Book Discussions, Handball, Red Hat Teas, Music, Coffee Hour, Bingo, Bowling, Ballet, Church Services, Outings, and more.
